Artist Statement:

I believe in the possibility of creating a rich, vibrant culture through individual action. In the uniquely multi-threaded tapestry of Canadian society, artists can provide a wide array of interpretations that help to evolve and transform our culture. Artists re-imagine our world to not only contribute, but to strengthen and retool ideas in order to benefit communities. The symbolism of images, subjects, media, and manner can materialize as innovative dreams or great ideas through the dialogue we engage in, as provoked by art. My collections aim to show how our simple notions of culture house an eclectic diversity and complexity of thought, and how each individual is part of a greater, more beauteous whole.
